Pupil Premium Funding
The main factors for indentifying children who required additional support that would be funded by the Pupil Premium were as follows:

Children receiving FSM and not making sufficient progress socially and academically

Children who have a parent / parents serving in the armed forces and not making sufficient progress

Children who have a parent / parents serving in the armed forces who at certain times required additional emotional support.

Children with Special Educational needs not making sufficient progress
The main barriers to educational achievement in our school include:
- Poor acquisition of basic language skills in the early years
- Poor social skills - the inability to listen, respond and empathise with other people
- Narrow experience of life outside of school
- Limited access to rich language and books in the home environment
- Break down of family life
- Low aspirations and expectations
- High mobility due to parents being in the forces
