8.50am – The school day starts – children should be sitting in their classrooms

10.30 –  Morning break

12pm – 1 pm Lunchtime

3.20pm – lessons finish, children will come out of school as soon as possible after this time.

If your child arrives between 8.50am and 9am they will be marked down as late on the register.

If they arrive after 9am they will be marked as an unauthorised absence on the register which will affect their attendance percentage.

School meals

Stanton Primary School uses a cashless system and therefore we ask that all parents register on the Arbor Parent Portal to be able to pay for your children’s school dinners, clubs trips and for the breakfast and after school club.

Parents can make payments and authorise trips and more using the School Gateway.

Breakfast and afterschool clubs

Breakfast Club

Children can arrive at 7.50 a.m. and will be served a breakfast of cereal, toast, fruit, milk and fruit juice.  After they have eaten their breakfast they will be supervised while they play until the start of school. Children can arrive up until 8.30 a.m. but no breakfasts will be served after this time.

The cost of the breakfast club is £5.50 per child per day and children can attend on a regular or occasional basis to suit your needs.  You will, however, need to book a place in advance so that we have an indication of the number attending each day because of providing food.

Afterschool Club

Children can stay at school and be cared for at the end of the day up to 6pm.

We offer this facility to all parents but the club runs on a pre-booked arrangement.

Children can attend on a regular or occasional basis to suit your needs.

The cost of Afterschool club is:

3.20 – 4.30 p.m. – £6.60 per child per day

4.20 – 6.00 p.m. – £8.80 per child per day (if your child attends a school club)

3.20 – 6.00 pm. – £11.00 per child per day

Our Cabin Mobile Number is: 07746 155583 this is for use during The Cabin Club Hours. At all other times please contact the school office number.

ClassDojo

ClassDojo is a school communication platform that teachers, students, and families use every day to build close-knit communities by sharing what’s being learned in the classroom home through photos, videos, and messages. Please click on the links below for more information.

How Do I access Class Dojo?

Your child’s teacher can add you using your email address or they can give you a personal code so you can link yourself to your child’s account. It is completely secure and you can only access your own child’s information or any photos the teacher shares on the whole class or school page. Please do talk to your teacher or Mrs Bonnelykke if you have any further questions.

Uniform

We believe that wearing the uniform encourages children to take pride in the school, particularly when on school visits.  Our school colours are navy blue, grey and white, blue or navy.  To maintain a neat and tidy appearance we would ask that jeans, trainers and similar casual clothing not be worn to school.  Children should wear black, blue or brown shoes and we would ask that children are not sent to school wearing shoes with open toes, sling backs, high or wedged heels or trainers.
